ANNOUNCING THE END OF 2022 SEASON

On Sunday Oct 2, our last day of formal SAJG Training, we celebrated 6 months of SAJG Training at the NBVC site. Our 2022 SAJG Season was phenomenally successful for a lot of reasons: Great Juniors - Great Coaches – Great Parents – Great Training – Great Volunteers/Coordinators and - Great Overall Comradery and Great Support from NBVC and Especially from the Pro Duffers West Golf Club – just to name a few!

The final day celebration included food/beverage/prizes/surprises for all attendees. The main program consisted of good genuine speeches and great comments from all parties present – including wonderful participation by our stars – the Juniors. Deserving Awards and Recognition were presented to all the SAJG participants, Coaches and Pro Duffers West Golf Club – our USGA host Club.  Below is a summary of some of the activities:

1. Awards to SAJG Juniors in all categories including Certification Medallions for the 2022 Season
2. Awards for all the Coaches - Leaders in Training Sessions – adhering all yearlong to SAJG criteria
3. Appreciation to Pro Duffers West Golf Club -Kenny Hughes – President, the Board/Membership
4. Awards picked by SAJG Coaches “TOP Golfer” for exemplary skills/all-around Program/Contests/etc.)
5. Thank you for our wonderful Volunteers and Parents for their immeasurable support all season
6. Kudos to the Juniors – they picked the winners of the “Congenially Award” themselves
7. ‘Thank You’ cards/signed/ were given to: PDW Golf Club, NBVC Management for the site for our use
8. Photos/Videos were taken of all festivities/Awards - Juniors, Coaches, Parents/ the Group, etc., at the event.

(The 2023 SAJG junior golf season will start function with a healthy budget to operate).

Each Junior is requested to please try to adhere as close as possible to the Golf Practice principles for the next 6 months. Be ready to jump start your SAJG Training in April 2023 at the beginning of next Season!

• PUTTING:  FOR A LEAST ONCE PER WEEK
• CHIPPING:  FOR A LEAST TWICE PER MONTH
• PITCHING:  FOR A LEAST TWICE PER MONTH
• SAND SHOTS: FOR A LEAST ONCE PER 2 MONTHS
• DRIVING RANGE: FOR A LEAST ONCE/TWICE PER MONTH

NOTE: At the least, safely putt/swing your golf clubs at home as often as possible
